Frequently Asked Questions

Payment

  • How to pay for the order?

Online payments can only be made through the secure PayPal system and bank transfers

Note: We do not accept payments by check or by phone.

  • What currency can I pay with?

All payments are made in Euros. Items that include additional taxes/taxes will be displayed on the product page.

  • Can I use PayPal?

You can choose to pay with PayPal. To continue paying with PayPal you must tick the box to accept the Terms and Conditions. Once you select this option at checkout, you will be directed to the PayPal site to 'Log In' to review the indicated amount and shipping address before clicking 'Pay Now'. Once the transaction is completed, you will be returned to the Awinita's page.

  • What information are you looking for?

To make a purchase you must enter the long debit/credit card number, the expiry date, the start date (some payment methods only), the CVV number (security number) and the name of the cardholder (exactly as writes on the card).

  • What is the CVV number?

The CVV number is the three-digit number written on the signature strip on the back of your card. If you have an American Express card, this is on the front.

  • What security checks are there to verify that the purchase is valid?

All credit/debit cards are subject to verification and authorization by the authority that issued the card. If your card issuer refuses or does not authorize payment, AWINITA will stop your order.

If your order has been blocked, we suggest you contact your card issuer.

  • How do you keep my information safe?

To ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple and secure, Awinita uses SSL/TLS technology. This encrypts and protects the data you share with us while you are placing the order.

If SSL is enabled then you will notice in the URL bar at the top of the browser where it starts with 'https:' instead of 'http:'. This means that you are in the so-called safe mode.

  • How safe is shopping at Awinita.com?

All transactions on the website are processed using a secure PayPal gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure environment.

  • I used the wrong card for my order. Can I change my payment method?

Unfortunately, once the order is placed we are unable to change the payment method.

  • Why has my payment been declined?

Unfortunately, we don't always know the reasons why your card was declined. Please ensure that all your card details are entered exactly as they are on your payment card, including your name and that the card number is entered without any spaces between the numbers. Even the CVV number, the last three digits found in the signature strip on the back of the card, must be noted.

If all of these are marked correctly, then please contact your card issuer for further details as to why your card has been declined.

Why you should sell online

  • Why sell online?

There are several reasons why you should consider entering the online retail industry. For one, the start-up costs for an online retail store are not as great as starting a physical store. You do not have to pay space rent and employees. Once you register, you will be provided with a page that you can use to post photos of your merchandise, receive orders, and answer questions online.

  • Your goods for sale

It will be much easier for you to create an online retail store if you already have an existing inventory of goods for sale. If you own a retail store, an online store will serve as another tool for you to grow your customer base. Online retailing will open your doors to more opportunities as more people are able to get a glimpse of the products you sell or the services you offer regardless of location. Many suppliers are willing to accommodate alternative arrangements with online retailers.

  • Payment

How do you intend to receive payments from your customers? There are several popular ways to get paid from them. You can opt for bank transfers, money transfer services, PayPal and credit cards. However, you should be aware that online customers choose convenient payment methods. Asking them to send payment through bank deposits, for example, can be especially time-consuming if your customer still needs to go to the bank to deposit payments. Payment via debit cards, credit cards and PayPal are probably the most preferred payment methods among online shoppers worldwide. You can easily set up a PayPal business account. You only need one credit card for verification. You may need to look for a credit card merchant account provider if you want to offer your customers an option to pay with a credit or debit card.

  • Customer support

There are times when customers send you questions about the products or services you offer online. You can also provide after-sales support in case one of the products you sold online is defective. Providing your customers with the best support can help keep them coming back to you. Just like sites that use a rating system like eBay, you'll be more likely to get good reviews if you give your customers the best support. Therefore, you need to create a way for your customers to connect with you. You can post your email or a toll-free 800 xxx xx number so your customers know how to reach you if they need to get in touch.

If you've dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur but fear that your lack of experience and venture capital is holding you back from becoming one, consider becoming an online retailer.

Anyone with a dream and determination can easily start and succeed with an online retail store.

With Respect,
